Community coaches inspire and connect Netball to over 140,000 Netball participants around the country each year. Our aim is to ensure coaches are being supported to deliver a quality experience of Netball while enjoying their own Netball journey.

Coaching is very rewarding and is a great way to contribute to your community, give back to the game, and to meet and connect with others involved in the sport we love. Netball Central Zone partners with your local Netball Centre to provide you with quality learning opportunities and support that will help grow your knowledge and build your confidence. As a new coach, you’re encouraged to participate in introductory coaching workshops that help you develop as a coach, improve the safety of and contribute to building a quality experience for our players.

FILLING YOUR COACHING KETE

“Our purpose is to develop coaches who connect and inspire players through Netball. The Coaching Framework aims to provide some flexibility, where Coaches can pick and choose how to start their learning journey in the Community and Foundation spaces without committing to completing a full qualification. We acknowledge that coaches may operate in multi levels in any one season.”
