Dipping out in the deep south, Central Manawa are now banking on a change in fortune at the opposite end of the country against the Northern Comets in Beko Netball League action in Auckland on Sunday.

Hellers Mainland are looking forward to getting back on court and putting their lessons learned over a tough few weeks into action in the latest round of the Beko Netball League.

Waikato-BOP took a confident climb up the Beko Netball League points ladder on the back of an impressive defensive effort across the board.

Due to the circumstances of the serious situation in Christchurch today Netball New Zealand has cancelled the Beko Netball League match between Hellers Mainland and the Northern Comets which was due to be played tomorrow, 1pm Saturday 16th March at the Lincoln Events Centre, Christchurch.

The Northern Marvels may have limited time with their captain Samon Nathan, but coach Ripeka Pirie still has plenty of positives on court.

A quiet off-court demeanour and engaging smile detract from the imposing presence midcourter Renee Savai’inaea is having for Central Manawa during the early rounds of the Beko Netball League.
