At our Waikato Bay of Plenty Zone AGM held on Sunday, 27th March two of our esteemed members were presented with the following awards:
Jan Teesdale – WBOP Zone Service Award 2022
Sylvia Smith – WBOP Life Membership Award
The Waikato BOP NNL team travelled to Rangiora to play their 2nd match against a highly rated Mainland team. They posed some real strength with ANZ Tactix training partners being available for the match. Our second game away and the juggle of Covid and ANZ commitments saw a changed line up for WBOP.
In the face of challenging times for Netball Central’s high performance teams, well-travelled midcourter Jazz Scott struck all the right notes when helping achieve a smooth start to the season for both.
Meet Chelsea Beere, 15 year old umpire from Howick Pakuranga Netball Centre
Meet Zak Middleton, NZ A Umpire from Auckland Netball Centre.
Meet Kiani Smith, Umpire from Netball North Harbour.
Meet Narelle Parker, Centre Badge umpire from Kaipara Netball Centre.
The Waikato BOP NNL squad of 10 travelled to Wellington excited to play their first match having had 3 matches drawn due to covid cancellations.
