Netball Northern Zone wish to congratulate the following athletes that have been selected for the NZ Strong Northern Marvels Netball Team for 2020
At the conclusion of Central Manawa Beko trials that took place on Saturday 1 February, the selectors have named the following players for the 2020 Central Manawa squad to compete in the Beko Netball League.
After a strong showing at the Beko Open Trial held on Sunday 1 December, the following players have been selected to attend the final trial on January 28th 2020.
The “Hobbiton” take-over of an ANZ Premiership match has seen Netball Waikato-Bay of Plenty named the winner of the 2019 Innovation Award at the Westpac Waikato Business Awards.
A successful season for Netball Central was highlighted at the 2019 New Zealand Netball Awards when several of the Zone’s players, coaches and umpires received the sport’s top accolades.
Netball Central’s drive to expose and develop its next tier of coaching talent has gained considerable traction with eight candidates from the Zone recently accepted for the sport’s premier coaching qualification programme.
