The common quality of a Coach Developer is they love to see coaches grow. Coach Developers support coaches to deliver a quality Netball experience to their players.

Learning and development opportunities are delivered across the Zone through a passionate group of Coach Developers whose goal is to grow the quantity and quality of Coaches. Coach Developers facilitate practical, non-practical and online workshops. They also do coach observations as part of the Community Coach Award Level 2 programme or when a coach asks for an informal observation at their training, game or tournament. They can also provide support to coaches at any time in a one-on-one buddy / mentor relationship.

One of the key targets in the Coaching space is to grow the quality and quantity of Coach Developers. The more Coach Developers we have, the more Coaches we can impact and we are always looking for enthusiastic people to join our growing team of Coach Developers. The pre-requisite for this is that you have either completed or are completing the Netball New Zealand CCA 1 and 2 modules. Please contact the Coach Relations Officer on This email address is being protected from spambots. FILLING YOUR COACHING KETE

“Our purpose is to develop coaches who connect and inspire players through Netball. The Coaching Framework aims to provide some flexibility, where Coaches can pick and choose how to start their learning journey in the Community and Foundation spaces without committing to completing a full qualification. We acknowledge that coaches may operate in multi levels in any one season.”
