International Netball will return to Palmerston North in September when the Silver Ferns host the Jamaican Sunshine Girls in the second Test of the New World Netball Series for the Taini Jamison Trophy.

Netball Central Zone has continued its strong presence at age-group level with five players being named in the New Zealand Secondary Schools (NZSS) team.

Coach Yvette McCausland-Durie has no doubts about the talent assembled in her 13-strong Central Zone squad for the upcoming National Netball League (NNL) where she is aiming for a top three finish.

Former Silver Ferns Coach Waimarama Taumaunu will be delivering a coaching workshop at the Central Energy Trust Arena in Palmerston North Saturday 19th March 1-2:30pm.
